Skiing (Killington & Pico within 20 miles, Sugarbush within 25 miles); sleigh and trail riding (Woodstock within 20 miles); hiking; White River fishing; alpine sliding (Pico Mountain); antiquing; covered bridges; golfing; Green Mountain National forest; great restaurants.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the backcountry vistas along the Appalachian and Catamount trails. The occasional moose sighting makes the trail hike a worthwhile experience.

For the less endeavorous, Silver Lake offers a serene setting to laze the day away, catch a breath-taking sunset or to catch a legendary Grandpa fish!
